Required in a WISP, there are two entities (typically an employee) the firm must designate. A Public Information Officer (PIO) who would act as firm’s spokesperson/point-of-contact and a Data Security Coordinator (DSC) who is responsible for implementing and maintaining the WISP. If you have a dedicated IT employee, or use a managed IT services provider, enter their name or the name of your IT provider that will handle the technical side of the WISP.
